Former participant of the popular romantic reality show "The Bachelor" Irakli Makatsaria and his wife Liza Chichua shared happy news with their fans. The family of the Georgian businessman and Ukrainian model has grown again — the couple welcomed a daughter.
As reported by RBC-Ukraine citing an Instagram post, the couple published a joint statement and the first photo with the newborn in the maternity hospital. The parents did not show the baby's face, but immediately revealed the child's name and expressed their emotions.
"Keto Makatsaria — this is simply incredible. Welcome," the couple wrote in the post caption.
Third child in the family
The birth of the girl is the third child in the Makatsaria family. Judging by the tag in the post, the delivery took place in one of the clinics in Tbilisi, where Irakli supported his wife along with close relatives. In his stories, the businessman showed how he was greeted at the hospital walls: in the video, he appears in a medical cap and gown, and then he is hugged by friends and relatives.
Love story and previous children
Irakli Makatsaria became known in Ukraine after participating in the "The Bachelor" project in 2016. He met his future wife, Liza Chichua, who is 17 years younger than him, by chance in a queue before a concert. Their love story led to a wedding in traditional Georgian style and a church wedding in the summer of 2022. The proposal was made on top of a mountain in Tbilisi.
In June 2023, the couple had a son, Giorgi, during whose birth Irakli was also present. A few years later, in January 2025, Liza gave birth to a daughter, Nina. The couple announced the third child back in December of last year, publishing a video in which they revealed the baby's gender.
Today, Irakli and Liza live and work in Georgia, continuing to delight their followers with news from their family life.
