The situation in the temporarily occupied territories is undergoing significant changes. Robert "Madyar" Brovdy, Commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, stated in an interview with Reuters that Kyiv's strategic goal is the complete isolation of Crimea from Russia in the near future.

According to Brovdy, the current tactics of using drones have already yielded tangible results. Intensified strikes on logistics hubs and fuel supplies have disrupted the enemy's supply chains. The effect is particularly noticeable on the R-280 highway, which connects Rostov-on-Don with Crimea and serves as a vital artery for the Russian occupiers.

Traffic Reduction and "Hunting" Tactics

Statistics from recent weeks speak for themselves. Traffic intensity on the R-280 highway, referred to as "Novorossiya" in Russia, has dropped by 71% over the last month. Brovdy stated that within a month, Ukraine will gain full control over this road.

The Commander of the USF compared the situation to "hunting partridges in an open field." Russian vehicles moving along the unprotected highway become easy targets for Ukrainian drones. This forces the enemy to curtail logistics, as the risks of delivering cargo become critical.

Expulsion Strategy and Consequences for Infrastructure

According to Brovdy, Kyiv's main strategic goal is not just to inflict damage, but to create conditions where staying in Crimea becomes impossible. "We will create conditions that will make it extremely difficult for any serviceman or defense industry worker to remain in Crimea, in the temporarily occupied territories, or to use access routes to them," he emphasized.

Military analysts confirm the effectiveness of this campaign. Medium-range strikes on occupied territories have led to a sharp reduction in supplies to the front line, which effectively halted the enemy's offensive last month. Furthermore, the weakening of Russian air defense has opened the way for long-range attacks that have struck oil infrastructure and arms factories deep within Russia.

Key Crossings Under Threat

The isolation of the peninsula is also occurring through the destruction of bridge crossings. The Chongar Bridge, which connected Crimea to the mainland, has already been completely destroyed by a series of Ukrainian drone strikes. This event became a turning point in the occupiers' logistics.

The situation is exacerbated on the Kherson front. Yesterday, in the temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson region, Russian forces were forced to close traffic on the bridge connecting Henichesk and the Arabat Spit. This is already the second important crossing lost by the enemy in recent days, further narrowing maneuvering and supply options.
