Ukrainian actor Ivan Blindar has spoken openly about his personal life and shared how he and his partner, Mariia Stopnyk, manage to find time for each other despite an extremely busy work schedule. A detailed account by the artist was published by the lifestyle project WAVE by RBC-Ukraine. Blindar did not hide the fact that their profession takes up a lot of time, and revealed what rituals help them maintain closeness and romance.
A profession that tolerates no pauses
According to the actor, their work constantly keeps them on the move: due to filming, theatrical performances, and tours, they often find themselves traveling and cannot always be together. Blindar noted that sometimes they even travel for shoots simultaneously, but work on different sets. "Our profession takes up a lot of time. We are constantly traveling. Mariia is on set, I am at the theater, or vice versa: I go to a shoot, Mariia goes to the theater," he admitted. That is why, according to him, joint tours become especially valuable when an opportunity arises to be close in the same city.
"We speak the same language"
Despite the fact that work occupies a central place in their lives, Blindar emphasized that while they frequently discuss professional matters, they primarily share their experiences and support each other. It is important to the artist that Mariia comes from the same field, and he gladly listens to her professional opinion, especially since they have different educational backgrounds. "I am very glad that Mariia is also from this sphere and we speak the same language," he added, pointing out that a shared professional language makes their communication deeper.
TV shows, memes, and mountains once a year
Even with heavy schedules, the couple tries to make time for leisure. Among their usual joint activities are watching TV shows and cartoons, as well as browsing memes on Instagram. A separate but regular ritual has become mountain hikes: about once a year, the couple heads out there to escape the urban rhythm and spend time alone. These seemingly simple activities, according to Blindar, help them recharge and maintain their connection during periods of separation.
How they spend a matching day off
When the couple finally has a matching day off, they try to spend this day together and not scatter their focus on chores. "When we have, for example, a single day off, we try to go somewhere together: whether to the mountains, to some restaurant, simply go to the movies, or just take a walk in the park," the actor shared. The choice of format, according to him, is not principal — what matters more is the very fact of spending time together.
