Actor Jacob Batalon, widely known to audiences for his role as Ned Leeds in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and interior designer Veronica Leahov wrapped up a grand wedding celebration in southern France. According to People, as cited by Wave RBC.UA, the couple legally married at a private ceremony whose date they did not disclose, and after the worldwide release of the film "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" they hosted a larger celebration for close friends and colleagues. A total of 56 guests were on the invitation list, and they were to spend three days together at a historic 18th-century estate.

A Three-Day Celebration in Provence

The wedding festivities took place from August 25 to 27 at the Château de Tourreau in the town of Sarran in southern France. The newlyweds emphasized that they wanted to turn the wedding into not just one evening, but a full-fledged experience: "We always knew that we wanted our wedding to be something more than just one evening. We wanted it to be a whole experience — several beautiful days when everyone we love could slow down, be together, and celebrate with us," they said. The celebration began with an outdoor dinner featuring pizza under string lights, and ended with a farewell brunch and poolside relaxation. Among the entertainment for guests were live musicians, a magician, an artist who painted a picture right during the festivities, and a closing-night fireworks show.

A Star-Studded Guest List

Particular attention was drawn to the presence of Batalon's co-stars from the "Spider-Man" films. Remi Hii, Zak Barkan, and Tony Revolori, who played Peter Parker's friends in the films, served as the groomsmen. The guests of honor of the evening were Tom Holland and his wife Zendaya: the actor who played the role of Peter Parker sat in the second row together with his wife and film colleague. The couple's pet — a Maltipoo named Vulpix — was also present at the ceremony.

The Newlyweds' Looks and Ceremony Details

For the ceremony, Veronica chose a strapless corset-top wedding dress by Galia Lahav, and later changed into a long lace dress with sleeves from the same brand. Jacob appeared in a classic black tuxedo by Suitsupply, and for the festive part of the evening he swapped it for a white jacket. The newlyweds performed their first dance to the song "All That Really Matters" by Illenium and Teddy Swims.

Their Love Story and Honeymoon Plans

The couple met in October 2023 thanks to mutual friends; a few weeks later they went on their first date, after which their relationship began to develop rapidly. On March 1, 2025, Batalon proposed in New York, and four days later the couple announced their engagement on social media, publishing footage from the romantic event. After the festivities, the newlyweds will head to a tropical destination for their honeymoon, where they plan to "disconnect" from the outside world and enjoy the first days of their married life.
