Ukraine is reaching a turning point in the weather: today, June 10, the country is finally emerging from the influence of active atmospheric fronts. According to forecasts from the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center and synoptician Natalia Didenko, rainfall will become more localized, and the number of sunny hours will increase. However, residents should be prepared for the fact that the air will remain humid, and short-term gusts are possible in some regions.
Thunderstorms and Fog: Where to Expect Bad Weather
Despite the general improvement in the situation, meteorologists warn of risks in certain regions. In the west, south, and east of Ukraine, short-term rain and thunderstorms are possible in some areas. In the most unfavorable areas, synopticians forecast hail and wind gusts up to 15–20 m/s.
Night and morning hours require special attention. In most regions, with the exception of the western ones, fog will form in some places, which may reduce visibility on the roads.
Heat and Humidity: How the Temperature Will Change
Today, the air temperature will rise to +26 degrees Celsius. Natalia Didenko notes that although precipitation is not expected at night due to rising atmospheric pressure, the feeling of humidity will persist. The synoptician describes the situation as a transitional period when rains will "still play around" but will begin to "communicate with the sun".
In the coming days, warm weather is expected to persist in Ukraine. The temperature will remain at summer levels, and the number of sunny clearings will increase. This confirms that the country is finally leaving the zone of unstable weather characteristic of the beginning of the month.
