In Tallinn, during a joint event with Estonian President Alar Karis, Volodymyr Zelenskyy outlined key timeframes that, in his view, will determine the future course of events. The head of the Ukrainian state stated that specifically June and July 2026 will be decisive in shaping trends both on the diplomatic field and on the front.

Awaiting Decisions from Global Alliances

Kyiv's strategic focus has shifted to preparing for decisions that are expected to be made following a series of international summits. Zelenskyy emphasized that the trajectory of the situation depends on these meetings. According to him, the international community must demonstrate a clear position so that the Russian leadership is left with no illusions regarding the potential benefits of continuing military operations.

"The main thing is that it is very important today to prepare for the negotiations and decisions that we all expect from summits at the level of the European Union, the 'G7', and NATO. June and July this year may determine a great deal," Ukrainian media quote the president.

Assessment of Russian Losses and Logistics Problems

During his speech, Zelenskyy commented on the current situation on the line of contact, assessing the positions of Ukrainian troops as strong. At the same time, he cited data on Russian losses, stating that Moscow is suffering significant irrecoverable and medical losses.

"Russia loses more than 30,000 of its soldiers killed and seriously wounded every month," the Ukrainian leader claims.

In addition to the tactical situation, attention was paid to the results of long-range strikes on enemy rear objects. Zelenskyy noted that Ukrainian attacks are having a significant impact on three key sectors:

  • Military logistics;
  • The oil refining industry;
  • Military production.

Economic Consequences and Resource Shortages

According to statements from the Ukrainian leadership, pressure on infrastructure has led to tangible consequences. In particular, a shortage of gasoline is being recorded in Crimea and certain regions of Russia. In these same areas, communication disruptions are observed, and the Russian budget is facing a lack of funds.

Kyiv insists on the necessity of continuing coordinated pressure. The goal of these actions remains to bring the Russian Federation onto a "diplomatic track," where, according to Zelenskyy, key settlement issues should be resolved.
