The body of Anatoly Kashpirovsky, who lived and worked in Russia for many years while supporting the Putin regime, is reportedly being prepared for transportation to Ukraine following a farewell ceremony in Moscow. Russian media claim that the coffin has already been moved toward the Ukrainian border, sparking widespread public resonance. Notably, one of the most famous psychics and hypnotists of the Soviet era passed away on October 3 at the age of 87 in a Moscow hospital, after which his relatives organized mourning events.

Farewell Ceremony in Moscow and Transportation Logistics

On October 8, an official farewell ceremony for Anatoly Kashpirovsky took place at the Grand Farewell Hall of the Troyekurovskoye Cemetery in Moscow, attended by dozens of people, including his widow and close associates. However, following the mourning event, the burial in the Russian capital never took place. According to media reports, the coffin containing the psychic's body was hastily removed from the Troyekurovskoye Cemetery and delivered to a specialized funeral parlor in the Moscow region, where specialists performed embalming and preparations for complex international transportation. Vinnitsya, where the graves of his parents and daughter (who died in Canada in 2018) are located, is named as the preliminary final destination of the route.

Contradictory Data

This story revealed numerous contradictions, particularly regarding the deceased's last will. The nephew of the deceased, Yuri Mamaev, publicly stated that Kashpirovsky insisted on cremation, intending to bury only a portion of his ashes near his mother's grave in Vinnitsya, linking this event to the future end of the war. Nevertheless, the family decided to completely abandon cremation and transport the entire body in a zinc coffin across borders. In addition, there are discrepancies regarding the cause of death: director Sergei Rudykh claimed heart failure, while other sources mentioned a severe oncological disease discovered shortly before death and a surgical operation, the occurrence of which was officially denied by his entourage.

Complex Route and Transportation Costs

Organizing such large-scale international logistics required significant financial and bureaucratic efforts. Experts and Russian media estimated that the total cost of transporting the coffin could reach about 2.5 million rubles, including about two thousand euros directly for transportation services, half a thousand euros for paperwork, as well as purchasing a special zinc insert and mandatory sealing. Regarding the route itself, two main options are being considered: transit through Belarus and Poland or a detour through Armenia and Georgia with subsequent transit through Moldova.

Political Context and Ties to Ukraine

The figure of Anatoly Kashpirovsky was invariably accompanied by a deep political and biographical context. Born in the village of Stavnytsia in the Khmelnytskyi region and receiving a medical education in Vinnitsya—where he worked for many years at a local psychiatric hospital—he emigrated to the US in the 1990s and later returned to Russia. From 1993 to 1995, he served as a deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation and later openly supported the Russian authorities, calling Vladimir Putin "one of the strongest rulers in history" and justifying the Kremlin's aggressive policies. Resuming large-scale public "healing" sessions in Russia in 2024, he continued his practice until his final days, remaining a controversial symbol of an era.
