On the night of June 10, Kharkiv was subjected to a massive drone attack. According to Oleksandr Synegubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, the enemy launched 26 drone strikes during the night and early morning hours. The main consequences were recorded in the Holodnohirskyi and Kyivskyi districts of the city.

Massive attack and fires

The Holodnohirskyi district suffered the most, where a large fire was recorded. In footage published by the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, a powerful column of smoke can be seen rising from the scene. This indicates the seriousness of the situation and the intensity of the strikes.

Casualties and injured

According to the latest data from Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov, the number of injured is five. Among them are mostly elderly people who experienced an acute stress reaction. Specifically, Synegubov reported on a 68-year-old and an 81-year-old woman who required medical assistance. Also injured were a 35-year-old and a 42-year-old woman — both suffered similar consequences from the shelling in the Holodnohirskyi district. Medical personnel provided assistance on the spot.

Context: series of attacks on Kharkiv

This is not the first attack on the city in recent days. On the night of June 9, the Kharkiv region was also subjected to a massive drone attack: three people were killed in Chuhuiv, fires occurred in two districts of Kharkiv itself, and about ten people were injured. Even earlier, on June 8, a Russian drone struck the "Nova Poshta" depot in Kharkiv — the building caught fire and partially collapsed.

The situation remains tense, and authorities continue to monitor the situation, providing assistance to the injured and eliminating the consequences of the attacks.
