Rising number of casualties
According to the latest data, the number of people injured as a result of Russian shelling in the Nemishlyanske district of Kharkiv has reached 42. This was reported by Oleksandr Synegubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, in his Telegram channel. All injured persons, including children, are receiving necessary medical assistance.
"The number of injured as a result of Russian shelling of the Nemishlyanske district has risen to 42," Synegubov wrote. Among the wounded are children, which is particularly alarming for local residents and authorities.
Destruction of a residential building
On the morning of July 8, Russian forces launched a missile strike on a five-story residential building in the Nemishlyanske district. Two people were killed as a result of the attack. The fifth floor of the building was partially destroyed, and several cars near the building were damaged.
Rescuers are still working at the scene, conducting search operations and assisting the injured. Local residents report a loud explosion that was heard in many parts of the city.
Attack on a gas station in the Kyivskyi district
In addition to the strike on the residential building, a Russian attack drone hit a gas station in the Kyivskyi district of Kharkiv. A fire broke out after the attack, which was subsequently contained by fire services. Fortunately, no casualties were recorded among the gas station staff or passersby.
