Massive attack on Kharkiv on the morning of June 10
On the morning of June 10, Russian forces launched a large-scale attack on Kharkiv. Multiple drone strikes were recorded in the city, resulting in civilian casualties and damage to residential buildings. According to Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov and Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Synegubov, strikes hit several districts of the city, including the Industrial, Nemishlyansky, Kyivsky, and Shevchenkivskyi districts.
Particular attention was drawn to an incident in the Industrial district, where a drone hit a multi-story residential building. As a result of this strike, three women aged 23, 27, and 77 were injured. Medical personnel provided necessary assistance on site. The 23-year-old woman sustained blast injuries, while the 77-year-old suffered from carbon monoxide poisoning. None of the injured required hospitalization.
Casualties in other districts of the city
In the Nemishlyansky district, an enemy drone hit a car. As a result of this incident, a 40-year-old man and women aged 38 and 76 were injured, suffering from acute stress reactions. Medical personnel promptly provided them with assistance on site.
In the Kyivsky district, a drone strike on a car was also recorded. Preliminary reports indicate no casualties. However, the total number of victims from the morning attack reached eight people, including those who experienced stress reactions.
Overall picture of the attack
Oleksandr Synegubov, Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, reported that numerous drone hits were recorded across various districts of the city starting from 9:00 AM. In total, eight people were injured as a result of the enemy shelling, six of whom suffered acute stress reactions. These include women aged 27, 33, 38, 57, and 75, as well as a 50-year-old man.
Recall that on the night of June 10, Russia attacked Ukraine with 207 strike drones. Air defense forces managed to shoot down most of the enemy drones, however, some still reached their targets. Specifically, 26 drone strikes were recorded in Kharkiv, and the number of casualties continues to rise.
Attack on Odesa
Aside from Kharkiv, Russian forces also attacked Odesa on the same night. As a result of the shelling, consequences were again recorded in the city, and one person was injured. Details of this incident are being clarified.
The situation in Kharkiv and other cities of Ukraine remains tense. Local authorities continue to assist the injured and restore infrastructure damaged by the attacks.
