The new season of "The Bachelor" has already started, and Ukrainian viewers are preparing for the return of "The Bachelorette." While some stars look for love in front of the cameras, television audiences dream of seeing others holding a rose. Recently, the host of "The Bachelor" Grigory Reshetnik suggested in a Threads post that Ukrainians choose candidates for the lead role in the next season of the show, and users began sharing their favorites in the comments — including famous singers, actors, and bloggers. According to Styler reports, it was this discussion that captured who, in the audience's opinion, could become the face of the romantic reality show.
Vladimir Dantes: The Musician Envisioned as the Bachelor
One of the loudest names on the list was Vladimir Dantes. This was despite the fact that earlier the singer had intrigued subscribers with Instagram Stories hinting at a new relationship. Fans, however, did not stop themselves from imagining him as the main character of a romantic reality show. The artist has television experience, easily supports jokes, and is not afraid of self-irony, so his appearance in the project could interest viewers accustomed to seeing the musician in a completely different role. Interestingly, Dantes himself already had the chance to imagine himself as the hero of such a show: in one interview, he was asked to choose a Ukrainian star who could win in his imaginary season of "The Bachelor." Potential participants named included Tina Karol, Anna Trincher, Jerry Heil, Nadya Dorofeeva, Michelle Andrade, and others, with the artist ultimately choosing Dasha Kubik in the final.
Alexey Durnev and Andrey Fedinchik: Humor and Acting Experience
Another name that repeatedly appeared among the suggestions was showman Alexey Durnev. Part of the audience would love to see a season of "The Bachelor" where, instead of the usual compliments on a romantic date, people joke about awkward situations. Durnev has long gained popularity thanks to humorous shows, ironic comments, and the ability to turn even an ordinary conversation into entertaining content, so his participation in the project could be an unusual experiment: it is hard to imagine the blogger leaving the dramatic moments typical of "The Bachelor" without jokes. The list of potential candidates previously also featured the name of actor Andrey Fedinchik. Interest in his personal life grew after his divorce from actress Natalka Denisenko, which became known in 2025 — at that time, some viewers suggested Fedinchik try to find new love on television. The actor is well known to Ukrainians for his roles in movies and TV series, but participating in a romantic reality show would be a completely different experience for him: this time, he would have to show his own feelings rather than the emotions of a fictional character.
"The Bachelorette": Tkachenko, Trincher, and the Confirmed Khizhnyak
Among the potential heroines for the female version of the show, viewers also mentioned blogger Nastya Tkachenko, known for her humorous videos in which she self-ironically depicts everyday situations, relationships, and human behavior. The idea of seeing her as the Bachelorette seems unusual: Tkachenko could bring more humor, unexpected reactions, and candid conversations to the project, and the fact that she is not afraid to laugh at herself would make the romantic dates completely unlike traditional television scenes. For now, Tkachenko's participation remains purely a viewer wish. Meanwhile, Anna Trincher not only ended up among the potential candidates but also publicly expressed her desire to participate in the project: in early 2026, when host Grigory Reshetnik invited the singer to try herself in the lead role of the romantic show, the artist replied with a short "I want." This response sparked fans' interest because after her divorce from blogger Alexander Voloshin, her personal life has repeatedly been a topic of discussion, and Trincher has openly spoken about her past relationship experiences, personal changes, and views on love.
Antonina Khizhnyak — The Official Bachelorette of the Third Season
Meanwhile, Antonina Khizhnyak went from being a potential candidate to a real romantic reality heroine. Even before the official announcement, the name of the star from the TV series "Catch the Kaidash" appeared among speculations about the next Bachelorette, and on October 15, 2026, the STB TV channel confirmed that the actress would indeed star as the main character of the show's third season. The actress has already managed to joke about the future participants: after the announcement, she hinted on Instagram that men who do not like borscht and herring with black bread will find it difficult to win her favor. Currently, casting for men wishing to meet Khizhnyak is underway, and the premiere date for the new season has not yet been announced at the time of publication.
