Ukrainian boxer Alexander Khizhnyak, Olympic champion of Paris, has taken another significant step in his professional career: in September, he entered the ranks of the top fighters according to one of the most prestigious world organizations — the World Boxing Council (WBC) — for the first time in his history. This is reported by Sport RBC.UA, citing the organization's official ranking.
Debut in the WBC World Top
In the updated September ranking of the World Boxing Council, Khizhnyak took the 31st position in the super middleweight category. For the Ukrainian athlete, this is his first entry into the lists of this boxing organization, which in itself became a notable event for his professional resume.
Record Times in the Ring
Khizhnyak managed to enter the world top in record time: the Ukrainian boxer has fought only three bouts on the professional ring. Nevertheless, his high level of skill and winning streak allowed him to instantly make a name for himself on the international arena and attract the attention of ranking committees.
