Renowned British designer Kim Jones is announcing his return to independent creation and the revival of his eponymous brand. This step marks a new chapter in his career following his successful leadership of collections at legendary fashion houses such as Dior, Fendi, and Louis Vuitton. Nearly two decades after closing his initial label, the master will once again create garments under his own name, drawing on his extensive experience in the global luxury sector.

Return to Roots and Future Plans

The debut collection of the revived brand is scheduled for autumn 2027. According to the team's announced plans, sales will launch in an online format, and the first official flagship store will open in October 2027 in Hong Kong. Subsequently, the brand intends to expand its retail network across key Asian metropolises and develop international partnerships. Meanwhile, apparel production will be concentrated in Japan, while leather goods will be crafted in Italy, underscoring the designer's uncompromising commitment to top-tier quality and craftsmanship.

Style Evolution and Interdisciplinary Approach

In the new line, Kim Jones aims to move away from conventional gender divisions, focusing on versatile silhouettes that harmoniously combine utilitarian functionality with modern aesthetics. Furthermore, beyond traditional clothing, the team plans to actively develop projects in contemporary art and object design. This approach reflects the multifaceted talent of a designer who throughout his career has masterfully blended the archival heritage of fashion giants with the relevant trends of youth subcultures, music, and streetwear culture.

Collaborations with Global Brands and Star Heritage

Kim Jones's career is filled with landmark milestones, among which Louis Vuitton's legendary 2017 collaboration with New York-based brand Supreme holds a special place, bridging high fashion and streetwear. Over the years working at Dunhill, Louis Vuitton, as well as serving as artistic director for Dior Men and Fendi womenswear, he shaped a unique signature that drew stars such as David Beckham, Kate Moss, and Travis Scott to his shows. Now, having stepped down from major corporations in late 2024 and early 2025, Jones is ready to fully realize his own artistic vision without corporate constraints.
