The number of people injured as a result of the Russian strike on the 'Solnechnaya Galereya' shopping mall in Kryvyi Rih has risen to 140. This was announced by Alexander Vilkul, head of the city's Defense Council, as reported by RBC-Ukraine. According to him, over the past 24 hours another eight people sought medical help, including one child; all of them received outpatient treatment. Thus, the number of casualties continues to grow two days after the attack, which took place on August 21.

Chronicle of the double strike

On August 21, Russia struck the shopping mall in Kryvyi Rih twice with drones. According to available data, the second strike was delivered at a time when rescuers were already working at the scene, which worsened the consequences and complicated the evacuation. The attack killed people, and the number of injured exceeded a hundred. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, commenting on the incident, promised to respond to this strike.

Condition of the wounded

At the time of publication, 50 wounded remain in the hospitals of Kryvyi Rih, of whom 13 are children. Six of the injured are in very serious condition, two of them children.
