Kyiv is facing the aftermath of a heavy downpour: significant flooding has occurred on the capital's streets, and traffic in several districts is impeded. Meteorologists warn that the inclement weather will last until the end of the day.

Academician Kukhara Street in the flooding zone

The situation on the roads is being monitored by the patrol police. Oleksiy Byloshytskyi, the First Deputy Head of the Patrol Police Department, reported that the roadway on Academician Kukhara Street was flooded due to heavy precipitation.

"Due to significant precipitation, the roadway on Academician Kukhara Street has been flooded, and traffic is impeded in both directions," noted the official. The police strongly urged drivers to plan their routes in advance, taking into account the current road conditions.
