As a result of a large-scale nighttime drone attack by enemy forces on the Kyiv region, infrastructure destruction, casualties, and injuries have been recorded. Several settlements in the region came under attack, including the towns of Vyshneve and Brovary, where direct hits and falling debris were reported.
Consequences of the Strikes in the Region
According to official data from Timur Tkachenko, the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, the epicenter of the tragedy was Vyshneve in the Bucha district. An enemy drone struck a dense residential and transport zone, completely destroying five passenger cars, while the blast wave and fragments damaged nearby structures. A woman was killed at the scene, and three other people sustained injuries of varying severity.
Fires in Industrial Zones
Simultaneously, Brovary came under massive attack. Here, falling debris and direct impacts triggered large-scale fires on the premises of warehouse and office buildings. According to preliminary information from local authorities, there were no human casualties in Brovary, though material damage is assessed as significant.
Environmental Situation and Consequences Liquidation
On the morning of September 27, 2026, a temporary deterioration in atmospheric air quality was recorded in Obukhiv and Brovary. This was caused by combustion products released from fires at industrial enterprises and warehouse complexes. Emergency rescue services, medical teams, and municipal crews are working round-the-clock at the sites to clear rubble and extinguish remaining fire pockets.
