Ukrainian comedienne Lera Mandziuk has publicly confirmed the end of her four-year romance. In an interview with INSIDER.UA, the artist focused not on the details of the breakup, but on the conclusions she has drawn for herself. According to her, this experience helped her «to more clearly define her own boundaries» — specifically, to understand what is acceptable to her in a relationship with another person. «Sometimes people walk a certain stretch of life together, and then their paths diverge. And a breakup here is not a defeat, but an important experience,» Mandziuk emphasized.
First Serious Relationship and the Path from Friendship to Romance
In June 2025, during a conversation with journalist Nataliia Tur for the project «TUR Zvizdamy» («TUR Stars»), Mandziuk referred to this relationship as her first serious one. Romantic feelings, according to her story, did not arise immediately: at first, she and her future partner were friends, and only over time did the comedienne realize she wanted more. Prior to this, as she admitted, she assumed she might remain single. In November 2025, in a comment to the project «Alone with Glamour», Mandziuk stated that her partner is a businessman, does not use social media, and has no Instagram account.
Why There Were No Joint Photos on Social Media
Mandziuk previously explained the absence of joint photos in the public sphere by her partner's non-public status. At the same time, she assured that the couple attended events together and did not hide their relationship from others. In an interview with Dom TV channel, published in August 2026, the humorist noted that she does not feel the need to publish photos with her beloved even occasionally: «When your man is non-public, following him around and filming is strange.» At the same time, love stories periodically appeared in her stage performances, but for the artist, talking about her own experience from the stage and regularly showing her personal life on Instagram are fundamentally different things.
Support for Creativity and the Partner's Sense of Humor
Mandziuk shared that her partner actively supported her creativity. She noted his sense of humor and said that he sometimes advised how to make a certain joke sharper or more frank. Thus, the romantic relationship coexisted with professional interaction, which, according to the comedienne, enriched both the stage material and her personal perception of the partner.
Attitude Toward Marriage and Motherhood
In the same interview with Dom TV channel, Mandziuk confessed that she would like to become a mother, yet she does not set a specific deadline for herself, striving to feel inner readiness for this decision. She does not consider official marriage a mandatory condition for having a child: in her opinion, what matters is good relations between the parents and the atmosphere of love in which the baby grows. Regarding a wedding, the artist said she has not yet felt the desire to arrange one, and was critical of the decision to marry solely because surroundings expect it.
Everyone Experiences a Breakup Differently
Concluding the conversation about the breakup, Mandziuk emphasized that she does not want to turn her story into a universal explanation of why people part ways. She noted that everyone experiences loss and change in their own way and urged not to generalize someone else's experience. The comedienne's statement was made within the entertainment project Styler, which is part of the RBC-Ukraine media holding and combines entertainment and lifestyle directions.
