Lesya Nikityuk, a well-known TV host and public figure, shared intriguing details about her upcoming wedding to serviceman Dmytro Babchuk. The couple, who got engaged in January 2025, dreams not of a modest ceremony but of a grand celebration that will bring together close friends and colleagues.
Nikityuk humorously noted that their wedding will be a real show where every guest can showcase their talents. "We could just get married and take a few photos, but that doesn't suit us. I have many friends who are colleagues. I think everyone will work for me for half an hour at my wedding. You can come without an envelope then," the star said in a comment to Kateryna Osadcha.
Lesya paid special attention to the musical program. She admitted that she dreams of a performance by Andriy Danylko, known as Verka Serduchka. "We really want Serduchka at our wedding. Either we and the guests, or just the two of us and Danylko," the host joked.
Nikityuk also touched on the topic of her relationship with her mother-in-law. She noted that warm and trusting relations have developed between them. "I was always told that I have cold hands, so my mother-in-law would be kind. And indeed it is," the TV host admitted with a smile.
The age difference between Lesya and Dmytro is eight years, but this has not become an obstacle to their happiness. In their families, such unions are not uncommon. "Grandma was a year older than grandpa, mom is two years older than dad, Dima's mom is also a few years older, and we have already doubled that... And I really wanted him to be tall, taller," Nikityuk noted with humor.
The couple revealed their romance in the fall of 2024, and in January 2025, they officially got engaged. Soon, they had a son named Orest, whose birth Lesya carefully concealed by wearing oversized clothes. The boy was born on June 15, 2025, and was baptized in November at the St. Michael's Golden-Domed Monastery.
Interestingly, Lesya and Dmytro's acquaintance happened thanks to a military medic who played a decisive role in their fate. This love story became yet another proof that fate sometimes offers the most unexpected surprises.
