The Ukrainian Club of Agribusiness (UCAB) Association, together with the UCABevent agency, has unveiled the LFM 2026 programme — the XVII International Conference 'Effective Management of Agro Companies'. The event will take place on September 8, 2026, in Kyiv and, according to the organizers, will bring together top managers of leading agro companies, investors, industry experts, and owners of innovative agri-industrial startups.
A Format Free of Usual Clichés
This year, the conference programme invites participants to look at agribusiness beyond the familiar framework: the focus is on rebuilding business models, maintaining efficiency amid global changes, adapting to European integration, and preparing for a world in which artificial intelligence and autonomous technologies become part of operational reality. Attendees will get more than eight hours of a management intensive and networking in a format of maximum interaction. According to the organizers, classic panel discussions give way to open dialogue, where the audience can ask questions, argue their own position, and influence the direction of the conversation.
Four Thematic Blocks of the Programme
The LFM 2026 programme is built around four blocks, each of which explores a separate aspect of the industry's transformation. The first block is devoted to the fact that familiar business models no longer guarantee results: logistical constraints, climate risks, and shifts in global markets are forcing companies to rethink their approaches to scaling and management, and here the discussion centers on where the 'tipping point' lies and how to maintain resilience in the new reality.
The second block — 'Win-win or Shock Therapy? How Ukraine's Membership Will Change the EU's Resilience' — focuses on European integration: new rules, standards, and opportunities, the impact of enlargement on the European economy, and the adaptation of agribusiness to the requirements of the Green Deal without losing efficiency. The third block, 'Demolishing the Architecture. Is Business Ready to Trust Processes That Humans Cannot Understand?', examines automation, AI, and autonomous technologies that are changing the logic of production organization, as well as questions of figures, productivity, labor shortages, and the future of the autonomous enterprise.
The final block — 'The Last Recruiter. When Will AI Stop Playing the Role of an Assistant?' — is devoted to how artificial intelligence is transforming not only individual processes but the entire labor market, as well as to the professions of the future and the rethinking of education.
Opening and Speakers
The conference will be opened by Taras Vysotsky, Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine, and Nikolai Mazany, General Director of CNH Industrial in Ukraine. Among the speakers, the organizers name Igor Kovalenko, Rector of Sumy State Agrarian University, Nataliya Teryakhina, HR Director of 'Kernel', Dmytro Zavhorodniy, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine for Digital Development, Digital Transformation and Digitalization, and Olga Trofimtseva, head of the German-Ukrainian training, workforce development, and human capital development project.
