August 14, 2026, the world of automotive art and high fashion continues to resonate with events that took place just two days ago. In anticipation of the famous Monterey Car Week, which traditionally gathers the elite of collectors in California, the French fashion house Louis Vuitton and the Californian atelier Singer Vehicle Design officially presented the result of their joint creativity. This is not just a tuning project, but a philosophical reimagining of the classic Porsche 911, where engineering perfection meets the aesthetics of luxury accessories.

Merging Watchmaking Art and Motorsport

The main innovation in this project was the use of technologies previously unapplied in the automotive industry. The partners turned to the La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton workshop to create unique mechanical watches that replaced the standard instrument panels. The design of these watches is inspired by the iconic Tambour model, known for its round shape and minimalism. The uniqueness of the solution lies in the fact that the watches are removable: they can be dismantled from the car and used as elegant desk clocks. Moreover, the designers transferred the characteristic fonts, indices, and color accents of the Tambour model to the speedometer and tachometer, creating a unified visual language between the car's interior and the watch mechanism.

Porsche 911 Classic: Nostalgia for Road Trips

The first car in the pair is the Porsche 911 Reimagined by Singer Classic coupe. Its design code is built on a bright combination of saffron, cobalt blue, and yellow colors. According to the creators, this palette is intended to remind one of the famous Louis Vuitton travel trunks that have accompanied travelers for decades, as well as referring to the shades used by Singer in early restoration projects. The car's interior is trimmed with natural leather with yellow stitching and metal elements, where motifs of the signature Monogram flower are visible. For the owner's convenience, a special roof rack is provided, designed for transporting travel trunks, surfboards, or skis, which emphasizes the concept of a "car for life".

Porsche 911 Classic Turbo: Aesthetics of Parisian Architecture and Yachts

The second car, the Porsche 911 Reimagined by Singer Classic Turbo convertible, was the result of collaboration with Nicolas Ghesquière, the creative director of Louis Vuitton's women's collections. The car's body is painted in a light shade of Calcaire Lutétien, inspired by the limestone characteristic of Parisian architecture. A key feature of the design is the combination of leather and natural wood, intended to recall classic motorboats. Wooden elements decorate not only the interior but also the body, including the rear panel, which visually resembles a yacht deck. This car represents the embodiment of luxury and elegance, where every element is thought out to the smallest detail.

Exclusivity and Cost

Both cars were created as unique projects, and their cost is not disclosed. This highlights their status as exclusive collectible items, available only to a narrow circle of connoisseurs. A whole collection of accessories has been prepared for the owners, including a leather jacket, driving gloves, shoes, a helmet, and trunks, manufactured taking into account the car's design. This approach allows for the creation of a holistic image, where the car becomes the central element of the owner's lifestyle.
