Ukrainian high jumper Yaroslava Mahuchikh demonstrated her class at the second leg of the Diamond League held in Rabat. The Olympic champion and world record holder confidently took the gold, clearing the bar at a height of 1.97 meters.

First start after the winter season

This success marked Yaroslava's first official start following the conclusion of her triumphant indoor season. In March, she reclaimed her title as world indoor champion, becoming the most decorated Ukrainian athlete in the history of indoor world championships. At that tournament, she stood on the podium alongside her compatriot Yulia Levchenko, who won silver.

Success of the Ukrainian team

In Rabat, Ukrainian athletes once again delivered excellent results. In addition to Mahuchikh's victory, Yulia Levchenko also competed. She finished in fourth place, clearing a height of 1.91 meters. Thus, Ukrainian high jumpers continue to dominate the international arena, confirming their status as leaders in this sport.

The National Olympic Committee of Ukraine confirmed the victory, reporting on the brilliant performance of their athlete at the prestigious tournament.
