New safety regulations for civilians are coming into effect in the Donetsk region. Vadim Filashkin, Head of the Regional Military Administration (RMA), officially confirmed the expansion of the mandatory evacuation zone, this time with a focus on the forced evacuation of families with children. The decision was made against the backdrop of a sharp deterioration of the situation and an increase in Russian shelling of frontline territories.

The document has already been coordinated with the government's Coordination Headquarters. Authorities emphasize that the measures are preventive in nature and aimed at preserving the lives of minors in conditions where the risk of coming under fire becomes critical.

Geography of risk: which areas fall under evacuation

The new order covers key settlements that remain in the high-risk zone. The list includes:

  • Sloviansk and Kramatorsk: Individual streets in both cities fall under restrictions. Authorities note that in some districts of Sloviansk, where evacuation has already been carried out previously, there are practically no children left. Now, measures are extended to new, most vulnerable quarters.
  • Kramatorsk suburbs: Individual streets of the settlement of Bilenkoye, as well as the entire territory of the settlement of Malotaranovka and the village of Privolye, fall under the forced evacuation of families.

Mechanics of the process: deadlines and logistics

The organization of the evacuation is built on a clear algorithm to minimize chaos and ensure the safety of citizens. Families with minor children are given a period of 30 days to voluntarily leave the dangerous areas. If the family does not leave on its own within this time, the mechanism of forced evacuation comes into force.

The entire process — from packing belongings to transportation and resettlement — is carried out completely free of charge. Evacuated citizens are centrally transported to transit points located in the Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv regions. From there, people are distributed to shelters and dormitories in safer regions: Rivne, Kirovohrad, Lviv, Poltava, and Vinnytsia regions.

Strength of help: who ensures the evacuation

Specialized forces are involved to implement the large-scale operation. On the ground, police crews "White Angels", rescuers of the "Phoenix" unit of the State Emergency Service, as well as about 15 volunteer organizations are working. Their task is not only to organize logistics but also to provide psychological support and assistance in document processing.

For those planning to leave, direct communication channels are working:

  • Hotline: 0-800-500-121
  • Messengers (Viber, WhatsApp, Telegram, Signal): +38(073)050-01-21

The authorities of the Donetsk region once again urge parents not to risk the lives of their children and not to wait for a critical situation, taking advantage of the opportunity to leave for safe regions.
