On the night of May 30, 2026, Russian regions were subjected to a large-scale attack by unmanned aerial vehicles. The main targets of the strike were facilities of the fuel and energy complex and port infrastructure in the Rostov and Krasnodar regions. As of the morning, fires have been confirmed in Taganrog and Armavir.
Significant damage has been recorded in Taganrog. Explosions were heard throughout the city, but the most intense strikes hit the area of Taganrog Bay and the adjacent territory of the aviation plant. A large fire broke out in the port area after the drone hit.
The fire immediately engulfed several strategic facilities: a tanker, a large fuel storage tank, and the port's administrative building. In addition, the loading infrastructure of the pier suffered significant damage. As a result of the attack on the airfield in Taganrog, two Tu-142 anti-submarine aircraft were destroyed.
Armavir in the Krasnodar Krai was also hit. The target of the attack was a facility of the "Southern Oil Company". A fire broke out at the oil depot, confirming the targeted nature of the strikes on logistics hubs.
