On the night of June 25, occupied Crimea became the scene of a large-scale operation during which Ukrainian Unmanned Systems Forces (USF) struck dozens of critical Russian military infrastructure objects. The attack, which covered almost the entire peninsula, demonstrated a high level of coordination and firepower of Ukrainian units.

Scale of the Operation and List of Targets

According to the statement of the Commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces, Robert Brovdi, known by the callsign "Madyar", 38 targets were hit during the night operation. Strikes were delivered against objects located in the operational depth of the enemy's defense. The list of hit objects included:

  • Coastal radar stations;
  • Energy infrastructure facilities;
  • Logistics hubs supplying the occupation forces.

The operation was carried out by fighters from various units: the 1st and 20th Separate USF Centers, the 9th "Kairos" Battalion (414th Separate USF Brigade "Madyar's Birds"), the "Phoenix" unit, and the 412nd Separate USF Brigade "Nemesis".

Consequences for the Peninsula's Infrastructure

On the night of June 25, explosions were heard in the Simferopol, Pervomaisk, and Krasnoperekopsk districts, as well as in the cities of Sevastopol, Yevpatoria, and Yalta. Significant damage was inflicted on the energy sector: as a result of strikes on the Tavria and Balaklava TPPs, mass power outages began across the peninsula.

This attack became the culmination of a series of preceding actions. A few days before the massive strike, the SBU conducted a special operation during which the infrastructure of the "Saky" and "Gvardeyskoye" military airfields was destroyed. Air defense systems S-400 and "Pantsir-S1" in the Kerch area were also put out of order, which significantly facilitated the task for the drones.

Assessment of the Situation by Ukrainian Leadership

Commenting on the successful operation, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized that the actions on the peninsula were carefully calculated. The head of state stated that, provided Western partners make the necessary decisions on weapons supplies, Ukraine will be able to create conditions that will force Russia to go for peace negotiations.
