During the night, Russia launched a large-scale combined strike on Ukrainian territory. According to the Ukrainian Air Force data published by RBC-Ukraine, the attack involved 70 missiles and 611 drones. Kyiv was the main target, while Dnipro and Kharkiv were also affected.

Missile launches were carried out from the Bryansk, Kursk, and Vologda regions of Russia, as well as from the temporarily occupied Crimea. Drones were launched from several Russian regions and the occupied peninsula.

How the attack was repelled

Aircraft, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, unmanned system operators, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces were deployed to repel the strike.

Air defense results

Preliminary data as of 08:00 indicates that the Ukrainian air defense system destroyed or neutralized 632 aerial targets. Damage was recorded at 42 locations. Debris from downed drones was found at another 12 sites.

The attack continues

The Air Force emphasized that the threat remains: enemy strike drones are still present in Ukrainian airspace. Civilians are urged not to ignore air raid sirens.

Consequences in Kyiv

Dozens of fires broke out in the capital. Damage has been recorded in almost all districts of the city. Approximately 140,000 subscribers were left without electricity.
