On the stage of the talent show 'Ukraine Has Talent' (STB), 12-year-old Nadezhda Lesnikova, daughter of People's Artist of Ukraine Tatiana Piskareva, performed the vocal composition 'The Power of Love' by Celine Dion. The young singer's performance sparked a stormy reaction among the audience and the judges: the high notes, the confident stage presence, and the vocal abilities that, according to the judges, are rare for such a young age, left a strong impression on the audience. The difficulty of the chosen composition was emphasized by both Tatiana Piskareva herself and the show's host, Hryhorii Rishetnyk, even before the performance began.

The initiative came from the daughter

In an exclusive interview with Styler, Tatiana Piskareva revealed the details of the preparation for the performance. According to the singer, the idea to take part specifically in 'Ukraine Has Talent' belonged to Nadezhda: the girl regularly watches the STB channel, re-watches episodes from previous seasons, and studies the stories of the participants with interest. Upon hearing that the auditions had started, the 12-year-old Nadezhda herself ran to her mother and declared that she was ready to show herself. This was followed by thorough preparation and daily vocal lessons, which, as Piskareva admitted, were evident from the very first seconds of her daughter's performance on stage.

The judges' reaction and the moment on stage

After the performance ended, the judges expressed their approval. In particular, judge Artem Pivovarov noted not only the performer's vocal data but also her stage behavior: 'A special thank you to you for such a song, for your courage. I cannot fail to note your character, how confidently you not only hold the notes but also behave on stage, how you move. This is truly a great rarity at such a young age.' During the performance, the audience in the hall froze in tension, watching whether the young singer would manage to handle the most difficult fragments of the composition. A separate emotional moment came when Nadezhda invited her mother onto the stage — it was then that it became clear how important family support is for the girl.

A view from the outside: what the mother told

Tatiana Piskareva, who was present in the audience, admitted that she was no less nervous than her daughter. 'I was telling her not to think at all about the judges' 'yes' or 'no.' Because if you do your work as an artist convincingly and sing from the heart — then the people, the audience and the judges will give their unanimous 'yes',' — the singer said. She emphasized that it was fundamentally important to her that in the frame and in the audience's perception, the star of the performance was Nadezhda herself, not her mother the singer. 'I really wanted to stay in the second and 'twenty-fifth' row. And here it turned out exactly as I wanted,' Piskareva added, thanking the show's directorial and filming crew for the tasteful presentation of the material.

Professional assessment and creative path

Assessing her daughter's performance from a professional standpoint, the People's Artist of Ukraine admitted that there were moments in the performance that Nadezhda could have sung better, but the result was affected by the strong stress of a big and responsible stage. Nevertheless, Piskareva was satisfied with the number and the overall impression from participating in the project. For the 12-year-old Nadezhda, this performance became not only a demonstration of vocal abilities but also a significant step in her own creative path. When the judges asked who inspires her to develop in music, the young singer answered without hesitation that her main inspiration is her mom.

Context: the show's return to air

Nadezhda Lesnikova's performance became one of the notable episodes of the new season of 'Ukraine Has Talent,' which returned to air on the STB channel. This season, a panel of three judges, including Artem Pivovarov and Elena Kravets, evaluates participants from various creative fields. In the interview, Tatiana Piskareva separately noted that all three members of the judging panel are 'super professionals' to her, and Elena Kravets, the singer's fellow countrywoman, made an especially warm impression on her as 'a woman who warms human souls like the sun.'
