Ukrainian singer Natalka Karpa has shared candid details about the health of her husband, serviceman Yevhen Terekhov, known by the call sign "Titanium Jackson." In a recent interview released in October 2026, the artist recalled the trials her family has faced since the beginning of the full-scale war and throughout his service.
<>Severe injury and a titanium plate
Yevhen Terekhov has been defending Ukraine since 2014. While performing combat duties in 2015 near Marinka in the Donetsk region, he sustained a severe traumatic brain injury. The consequences of this wound required the installation of a special titanium plate and a supporting mesh in the abdomen. As Terekhov himself recalled in an interview a decade ago, the surgery lasted about seven hours, and the rehabilitation process was long and grueling.
<>New surgery in 2026
Despite his combat experience and past injuries, in early 2026 the serviceman faced an everyday accident that led to serious medical consequences. In February, while leaving a headquarters in a forest plantation, Yevhen slipped and suffered a complex leg fracture. Doctors had to perform surgery, inserting three pins into the bone for secure fixation.
Frontline service and wedding anniversary
Having completed treatment and recovery, Terekhov returned to active duty and continued performing tasks in the Kupiansk direction in the Kharkiv region. Alongside military service, the family marked an important milestone: in August 2026, Natalka Karpa and Yevhen Terekhov celebrated their tenth wedding anniversary while raising their daughter Zlata.
