It has been announced that the 2026 National Unity Radio Dictation will take place on October 27 at 11:00 Kyiv time. This year, a text titled "The Letter That Never Ends" will be read live by singer Dasha Astafieva and teacher Artur Proidakov, with the piece written by writer and veteran Artur Dron.
About the Text "The Letter That Never Ends"
Author Artur Dron noted that he aimed to create a space for personal conversation and reflection for every participant. According to him, speech gives people the opportunity to say something important to one another, especially when distance separates them. The writer emphasized that everyone has their own recipients for such intimate words.
Project producer Yuliia Sheludko added that conceptually, the text resembles modern messaging between close people. It is a fragment of communication that is close to everyone and reflects major experiences during difficult times, going beyond a standard spelling and grammar test.
How to Join the Writing and Check the Text
The dictation broadcast will be available to everyone on various Public Broadcasting platforms on October 27 at 11:00. Participants who want an official check of their knowledge can send their written text in two ways: by paper mail to the Kyiv address with a postmark no later than October 28, or as an electronic copy in .jpg, .png, .jpeg, .tiff, .pdf formats to [email protected] by 11:00 on October 29.
The official publication of the text on Public Broadcasting resources will take place on October 29 at 11:00. This will allow everyone to independently check their work and review mistakes without sending it to specialists for verification.
Significance and Tradition of the All-Ukrainian Dictation
The National Unity Radio Dictation has long outgrown the format of an educational flashmob, turning into a powerful tool for uniting Ukrainians around the world. Every year, the event brings together thousands of people regardless of their age, profession, or location. The choice of texts reflecting the current emotional context and personal experiences of each citizen makes this event an important cultural and public phenomenon.
