The fuel and energy complex market in Ukraine continues to demonstrate instability. Major gas station networks revised their price lists again on July 22, fixing historical maximums for the main types of fuel. Car owners are facing the need to overpay for refueling as prices for gasoline and diesel continue to creep up.
Price dynamics among major players
The situation in the market is non-uniform: some networks continue to raise prices, while others are fixing current indicators at peak values. Let's look at the details of changes by key market players.
The company SOCAR updated the cost of its premium gasoline NANO 100 and the standard grade A-95, raising the price by 1 UAH per liter. A more significant blow to car owners' wallets was the increase in the cost of diesel fuel: the NANO Extro and NANO grades rose by 2 UAH per liter.
The Ukrnafta network also did not stay on the sidelines of the general trend. Here, an increase in the price of A-92 gasoline by 1 UAH per liter was recorded. Diesel fuel, including the regular grade and the Energy brand, increased by 1.5 UAH per liter.
Meanwhile, the OKKO and WOG networks are currently keeping prices at a stable but high level. The cost of A-95 gasoline with them ranges from 81.90 to 82.90 UAH/l, diesel fuel is offered from 83.90 UAH/l, and the price of autogas remains unchanged at 41.90 UAH/l.
Where to refuel the cheapest?
For those looking for the most favorable conditions, the following summary of minimum and maximum prices in the market is relevant:
- Gasoline A-95: The most affordable option is offered at the "Ukrnafta" network at a price of 77.90 UAH/l. At the same time, premium grades and offers from other networks are more expensive — from 81.90 UAH/l (OKKO, WOG) to 93.90 UAH/l (SOCAR).
- Diesel fuel (DF): The leader in affordability is also "Ukrnafta" with a price of 80.40 UAH/l. In other networks, the cost of diesel starts from 83.90 UAH/l (OKKO).
