Massive attack on the peninsula
In the night of June 29, the temporarily occupied peninsula became the target of a large-scale attack using unmanned aerial vehicles. According to data published by RBK-Ukraine citing the Telegram channel "Crimean Wind," explosions occurred almost simultaneously in several key areas of the region.
Particular activity was recorded in Sevastopol. Witnesses reported sounds of "strikes" in the area of Kazachya Bay, as well as in the village of Orlovka, located on the northern side of the city. The force of the explosions and the intensity of the attack are confirmed by numerous reports from local residents.
Strike on energy infrastructure
Significant resonance was caused by events in the Bakhchisaray district. According to preliminary information, the strike hit a substation near the village of Nekrasovka. As a result of the damage to the facility, a complete power outage occurred in nearby settlements, leaving residents in the dark.
Later, a series of explosions was recorded in other major cities of the peninsula — Kerch and Feodosia. Local residents also heard the sounds of drones flying overhead and subsequent explosions, indicating the wide geography of the attack.
Context of escalation and logistical crisis
This event is not isolated. Over the past week, occupied Crimea has been under systematic fire pressure from the Ukrainian Defense Forces. Earlier, Navy representative Dmytro Pletenchuk noted that recent strikes on the railway bridge were another stage of a multi-stage operation aimed at exhausting the enemy grouping.
The situation for the occupation authorities is exacerbated by a critical shortage of resources. Vladimir Putin himself publicly acknowledged the existence of serious problems with supplying the peninsula, stating that fuel reserves were only enough for a few days. At the same time, Crimea's monthly requirement is 70,000 tons, making logistical chains vital and vulnerable targets.
