Night attack on Dnipropetrovsk region: 5 gas stations damaged, one dead and several injured

Large-scale sabotage in energy and retail sectors

The night of July 1st became a time of serious trial for the Dnipropetrovsk region. As a result of a coordinated attack by the enemy using unmanned aerial vehicles, critical infrastructure facilities were damaged. According to the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Ganch, strikes hit five gas stations in the region.

The visual consequences of the attack speak for themselves: massive destruction of structures is observed at the impact sites. Gas station equipment is damaged, and fires have broken out on the premises. Metal roofs and canopies are deformed, indicating the significant force of the explosions.

Human casualties and consequences

The attack did not go without casualties among the civilian population. Oleksandr Ganch confirmed the death of one woman. Three civilians sustained injuries of varying degrees of severity. One of the victims is under observation in a medical facility, while two women have been prescribed outpatient treatment after receiving first aid.

Operation of air defense systems

The region's defense forces responded to the threat promptly. During the night, the downing of 11 strike drones was recorded over the Dnipropetrovsk region. The Ukrainian Air Force had previously warned of threats in the sky, indicating that the drones were likely launched from the north.

Impact on transport and power supply

The consequences of the attack affected not only the fuel sector. A few hours ago, it became known that an electric locomotive was hit by a Russian drone. This incident creates risks for railway communications and may lead to changes in the suburban train schedule.

Furthermore, due to ongoing threats, hourly power outage schedules are in effect in the region on July 1st. Restrictions are introduced in the evening from 17:00 to 22:00. Experts note that the intensity of attacks remains high: it was previously reported that there were more than 20 strikes per day in the region, confirming the systematic nature of the enemy's actions.
