A new attack was launched on the Odesa region during the night. According to the State Emergency Service (SES) and the head of the regional administration, Oleksandr Kiper, civilian and critical infrastructure facilities, as well as residential buildings, were hit.

In one of the districts, the roof of a three-story hotel was damaged. In another location, a private residential house and an outbuilding suffered destruction. Additionally, a multi-story residential building, the territory of a medical center, and a critical infrastructure facility were damaged.

Particular attention was drawn to an incident at a warehouse building where a fire broke out. A feed additive caught fire, but rescuers managed to quickly extinguish the blaze.

Emergency services at work

Operations to eliminate the consequences are ongoing at the impact sites. More than 30 rescuers and 10 units of SES equipment have been deployed. Emergency and utility services continue to inspect damaged facilities and carry out restoration work.

Preliminary data indicates that there are no fatalities or injuries.

Context: strikes on logistics

The day before, Russian forces struck a logistics facility in the Odesa region with two ballistic missiles equipped with cluster warheads. As a result of the attack, eight road workers were injured, two of them in critical condition.
