On the night of July 3, Ukraine was subjected to a large-scale air attack by Russia. The strike involved guided air-to-surface missiles and 105 combat unmanned aerial vehicles. Air defense forces have already provided initial data on the results of repelling the attack.

Air Defense Results

As of 08:30, Ukrainian air defense systems neutralized 83 aerial targets. The interception and suppression of threats took place in the north, south, and east of the country. Despite significant success in interception, the Air Force Command of Ukraine warned that the air attack is ongoing — several enemy drones remain in the sky over Ukraine.

Consequences of strikes on populated areas

The attack resulted in casualties and destruction. In the Sumy region, Russian occupiers shelled a residential building. Several people were killed, including a child. Fires and building damage were also recorded in Kryvyi Rih.

In the Dnipropetrovsk region, a Russian cruise missile (KAB) hit a private house where the entire family was present. All family members were injured. Details of their condition and the circumstances of medical assistance are currently being clarified.

The situation remains tense

Ukrainian authorities are urging citizens to remain vigilant and follow safety rules during air raid alerts. Air defense operations continue, and the military is monitoring the movement of the remaining airborne drones.
