The night of May 30th became a severe test for the residents of the Shostka community in the Sumy region. Russian forces launched a large-scale attack using unmanned aerial vehicles, turning peaceful sleep into chaos of sirens and explosions. As a result of the strike, civilian infrastructure was damaged: fire and debris affected residential buildings and administrative structures.

The main efforts are currently focused on searching for victims and assessing the damage. Emergency assistance is being provided to people, while utility workers are trying to restore resource supply to the damaged areas.
This incident once again reminds us that war has no boundaries and can come to any home at any moment. Shostka, like many other cities in the region, continues to live under constant threat, demonstrating incredible resilience in the face of aggression.
