On Monday, June 8, rolling blackouts are not planned in Ukraine. This was announced by the state enterprise "UkrEnergo," confirming that consumption restriction measures will not be applied in the coming 24 hours.

Recommendations for consumers

Despite the absence of scheduled blackouts, the company urges citizens to use resources rationally. Specialists recommend shifting the use of high-power appliances to daytime hours — from 10:00 to 16:00. This will help reduce peak load on the grid and ensure stable operation of the power system.

"Please consume electricity rationally," the department emphasizes, addressing the country's residents.

Context of recent events

The decision to lift restrictions was made against the backdrop of restoring power supply after incidents at the beginning of the week. On the morning of June 5, customers in the Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, and Sumy regions were left without power due to enemy attacks. Additionally, on the same day, three settlements in the Sumy region were left without electricity due to adverse weather conditions — thunderstorms and strong wind gusts.

Repair crews of "Oblenergo" promptly worked to restore damaged overhead power lines, which allowed power supply to return to normal by the beginning of the week.
