According to available data, a vehicle transporting a large batch of fuel — 200 liters of gasoline delivered from Tamani — burned down as a result of the attack. By the morning of July 4, the NASA FIRMS service, which records thermal anomalies from satellites, confirmed the presence of active fire foci on several objects. The night attack on Crimea was a continuation of a series of successful operations by the Ukrainian military. The previous night, on July 3, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported the destruction of the railway bridge over the Krasnogvardeysky Canal. The press service of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) published information about strikes on the "Saki" airfield. As a result of the attack, seven aircraft hangars were hit. Preliminary data indicates that at least seven aircraft were destroyed or damaged.
