Stability amidst segment differences

As of August 12, 2026, fuel prices at the largest Ukrainian gas stations remain within a stable range. However, as market experts note, the difference between price segments of various operators allows car owners to save significantly by choosing where to refuel. The price spread for the same types of fuel between networks reaches 5–7 UAH per liter, which translates to a noticeable sum for a full tank.

Petrol A-95: from 79.90 to 85.40 UAH/l

The most affordable A-95 petrol (standard) is offered by the state network «Ukranaftha» — at a price of 79.90 UAH/l. Prices on private networks are higher: at OKKO this type of fuel costs 82.90 UAH/l, at WOG — 83.50 UAH/l. The highest price tag is traditionally held by the SOCAR network — 85.40 UAH/l. Thus, the difference between the cheapest and the most expensive petrol is almost 5.50 UAH/l.

Diesel fuel: from 89.90 to 98.90 UAH/l

Standard diesel can be refueled at a price from 89.90 UAH/l («Ukranaftha») to 95.90 UAH/l (SOCAR). Premium grades of diesel fuel fluctuate in the range from 91.90 to 98.90 UAH/l. The difference between standard and premium diesel within the same network can reach 3–4 UAH, making the choice particularly important for owners of commercial vehicles.

Autogas: the most balanced prices

Prices for liquefied gas remain the most balanced among all types of fuel. The cheapest gas is sold in the «Ukranaftha» network — 42.90 UAH/l. At OKKO and SOCAR the price is 43.90 UAH/l, and at WOG — 44.50 UAH/l. The price spread here is minimal — only 1.60 UAH/l, making gas an attractive option for saving money.

Contradictory data

Despite the general stability of prices, a number of sources indicate a possible price increase in the near future. According to Unian and Obozrevatel, some operators are already preparing to revise price tags, citing rising wholesale prices and logistics costs. At the same time, according to Delo.ua and Glavred.info, current stability may persist for several more weeks thanks to state regulation and the availability of strategic reserves.
