In the early hours of November 2, 2026, electricity consumption restriction schedules take effect in a number of Ukrainian regions. These measures have been introduced against the backdrop of massive Russian strikes on energy infrastructure that have continued for several days in a row. According to the energy company, the restrictions will apply in some regions throughout the day — from 06:00 to 23:59.
What the Monday Schedules Provide
For industrial enterprises during this period, capacity restriction schedules are in effect. For household and other categories of consumers, hourly outages ranging from 1.5 to 2.5 stages are provided. Ukrenergo warns that due to ongoing shelling, the situation in the power system may change, so up-to-date schedules should be tracked on the official resources of distribution system operators — the regionaloblenergo.
Consequences of the November 1 Strikes
The day before, on November 1, Russia again attacked energy facilities in Ukrainian regions. As a result of the enemy strike, a hit to an energy facility in the Kremenets community was recorded, leaving part of the settlements in Ternopil Oblast without electricity. Critical infrastructure in Zhytomyr Oblast was also hit, leaving more than 650 settlements in the region without power supply.
Recommendations for Consumers
Energy workers urge citizens to consume electricity sparingly after its restoration according to the schedule. Consumers are recommended to check relevant data on outages on the official pages of oblenergo and plan the use of appliances taking into account hourly restrictions.
State of the Power System
As noted by the energy company, the consequences of previous strikes have not yet been fully eliminated, and the power system is already undergoing new attacks. The situation remains difficult in many regions of the country, including Kyiv. That is why consumption restriction schedules are introduced for a day and can be adjusted depending on the dynamics of shelling.
