Ukrainians have received long-awaited news: no planned power outages are forecast for the country on July 2. This became possible thanks to improved weather conditions and increased energy import capabilities, according to Ukrenergo.
Reasons for the temporary lull
Specialists from the energy company explained that the drop in air temperature in neighboring countries allowed for an increase in electricity import volumes. This helped stabilize the situation in the power grid and avoid introducing restrictions in the coming 24 hours.
Call for caution
Despite the absence of forecasted outages, energy experts strongly recommend that citizens remain vigilant. Ukrenergo urges people to continue consuming electricity economically, especially during evening hours — from 16:00 to 23:00, when the load on the grid traditionally increases.
In particular, it is recommended to limit the use of powerful household appliances whenever possible — air conditioners, electric kettles, washing machines, and other devices that consume significant amounts of energy.

In recent days, hourly power supply restrictions were reintroduced in Ukraine due to extreme load on the power grid. Thus, on June 30, due to heat and a sharp rise in consumption, Ukrenergo announced the introduction of restrictions for industry, business, and household consumers.
That same evening, users of the Kyiv Digital service began receiving notifications about emergency outages in the capital. However, companies DTEK and YASNO did not officially confirm the introduction of such measures in their service areas.
By July 1, hourly outage schedules began operating across Ukraine from 17:00 to 22:00 — for both the population and enterprises.

Energy experts emphasize that the situation in the power grid can change at any moment. Therefore, citizens are advised to follow official announcements from Ukrenergo and information from local distribution system operators.
