According to Russian media citing the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MChS), three powerful explosions occurred on the main gas pipeline. At the same time, local residents, whose messages are circulating in Telegram channels, report that the incident began with a gas pipe rupture, followed by immediate ignition.
Visual evidence confirms the scale of the disaster: the glow from the fire is clearly visible several kilometers from the epicenter. Emergency services are already deployed at the scene of the incident, attempting to localize the fire.

The events in Dagestan are taking place against a backdrop of a tense situation related to a series of explosions recorded on June 9 in various parts of the country. Earlier, a car exploded in Balashikha, near Moscow, resulting in the death of a high-ranking military official.
According to updated data, Colonel Damir Davydov, who held the post of Head of the Main Rocket and Artillery Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Defense, was killed in the incident in Balashikha. Davydov's surname had previously appeared in documents published by Yevgeny Prigozhin, where he was mentioned as one of the officials overseeing the distribution of ammunition in the Russian army.
In addition, a car explosion was also recorded in southwest Moscow. According to unconfirmed reports, the cause of the incident was a fire in the engine compartment.
