On June 3, the stage of the Kyiv National Academic Young Theatre became the birthplace of a new choreographic story. The first showing of the reflective spectacle 'SEPTIMA' took place here, immediately gathering a full house and numerous famous guests. The premiere, which has become one of the most discussed theatrical events of early summer, offers the audience not just a dance show, but a deep dive into the world of human emotions.

A Story of Transformation and Self-Discovery

The plot is based on the story of a dancer named Lana, who finds herself on the threshold of radical life changes. Through the plastic language of movement, the production explores complex themes of internal transformation, rethinking past experiences, and searching for new meanings. The spectacle immerses the audience in a space of fears, the struggle with their own emotions, and the search for light even during the darkest periods of life.

The creators of the project focused on the atmosphere. Choreography, lighting solutions, and musical accompaniment work in unison, forming a cohesive emotional story. The scenario for the production was written by Daniil Golovanov, while the choreography was developed by the winners of the 'Dancing with the Stars' project — Anna Karelin and Pavel Simakin.

The Team and Main Roles

Behind the success of 'SEPTIMA' stands a team of professionals. The director of the spectacle was Nazar Didyk, known for the productions 'Shafi' and the dance fairy tale '12 Months'. Daria Vinyarskaya served as the executive producer of the project.

The main roles in the spectacle were performed by Lana Yerniyazova and theater and film actor Artemiy Egorov. Their work was supported by Pavel Simakin, Alexander Prokhorov, Galina Trofimova, Vladimir Marchuk, and Bohdan Zhurbenko.

Dialogue with the Audience

The main goal of the authors is to create a space where everyone will find an echo in their heart. As director Nazar Didyk noted, the most valuable thing for him is seeing people's reactions after the show. 'We wanted to create not just a dance production, but an emotional space where every viewer can recognize themselves, their feelings, and their experiences,' he shared.

Lana Yerniyazova added that the production raises eternal themes: internal fears, love, loss, and the inevitable search for oneself. Following the successful premiere, the organizers have already announced upcoming shows, continuing the dialogue with the Kyiv audience.
