Ukrainian retail chains have updated their price lists for basic products. According to monitoring conducted by RBC-Ukraine, on Monday, June 29, most goods retained their prices, although changes were recorded in certain categories.

Eggs and bread: where price tags have changed

The most noticeable fluctuations after the weekend affected the category of chicken eggs. While prices for other products remained stable, the cost of eggs underwent changes in a number of chains.

The situation with bakery products also requires the attention of shoppers. On Monday, June 29, the following prices for bread were recorded in stores, which vary depending on the brand and the chain.

Groceries and dairy: stability and underdogs

In the grocery departments of supermarkets, the picture remains the same. The leader in terms of grain availability continues to be the 'Silpo' chain, which maintains the lowest prices thanks to its own product imports. At the same time, in other retail chains, the cost of similar goods can be four times higher.

Dairy departments demonstrated complete stability: after the weekend, not a single price tag on dairy products changed. A similar situation is observed with refined sunflower oil in 0.5-liter volumes — the cost of this product also remained at the same level.
