Ukrainians are preparing for the weekend, which promises to be changeable: according to meteorologists' forecasts, the country will face a series of short-term rains, but thermometers will still show quite summer-like values. Meteorologist and synoptic Natalka Didenko warned that the weather would be "restrained," but a stable warming trend is already on the horizon.

Weather front: rain and temperature

According to data published by the specialist on Facebook, the upcoming weekend days will pass under the sign of precipitation. "There will be many short-term showers," Didenko stated. Despite frequent downpours, the air temperature will not drop to cold values. On average across the country, daytime thermometers will rise to +20...+25°C.

Residents of the southern regions of Ukraine can boast of the most comfortable conditions. There, air temperatures are expected to range from +25°C to +28°C, creating the feeling of a real start to summer, despite possible precipitation.

Situation in Kyiv

The capital of Ukraine will also fall into the zone of influence of the rain front. In Kyiv, both on Saturday and Sunday, one should expect short-term rains. The maximum temperature during the day in the city will remain at the mark of +20...+22°C.

The synoptic provided a forecast diagram for Kyiv, which clearly demonstrates weather fluctuations for mid-July. It is not difficult to understand the graph: it shows an alternation of precipitation and clearing, characteristic of the transitional period.

Prospects: heat or comfort?

For those who still feel the coolness, the synoptic has good news. Natalka Didenko reported that starting next week, stable warming will arrive in Kyiv and throughout the territory of Ukraine.

At the same time, the expert noted an important nuance: "extreme heat is unlikely." This means that summer will be comfortable, without extreme temperature peaks that often cause health problems and overloads of energy systems.

Recommendations for vacationers

In connection with the unstable weather over the upcoming weekend, the synoptic gave a number of practical tips to those planning to get out into nature:

  • Be sure to take an umbrella or raincoat with you.
  • Have dry spare clothes with you to replace wet ones after a downpour.
  • Do not dress too lightly, as the temperature may be lower than expected, especially in the shade and under the rain.

These precautionary measures will help you spend the weekend outdoors comfortably, without spoiling the impression from sudden precipitation.
