Monday, June 8, will be rainy in Ukraine. Meteorologists warn that precipitation will be accompanied by thunderstorms and squalls in some areas. RBC-Ukraine reports on the unstable weather based on a forecast by meteorologist Natalka Didenko.

Thunderstorms and flood risk

According to the expert, tomorrow's rain could be intense. During thunderstorms, short-term heavy downpours and wind gusts are possible. Didenko also pointed out infrastructure problems that exacerbate the situation during bad weather.

"Do not blame the atmosphere alone for rivers along the streets — clogged drains can also be the cause of difficult weather conditions, or rather their consequences," the meteorologist noted.

The specialist strongly recommends that residents prepare for precipitation: take an umbrella with you and arrange for safe parking for your vehicle in advance to avoid possible transport problems.

Temperature background and weekly forecast

Despite the rain, the air temperature on Monday will remain comfortable. During the day, thermometers will show from +22 to +26 degrees. It will be warmer in the east and south of the country — from +24 to +29 degrees.

Rain with possible thunderstorms is also expected in Kyiv on June 8. During the day, the temperature in the capital will be +22...+23 degrees.

Overall, the coming week promises to be warm, and in some places even very warm, but humid at the same time. The weather will be unstable: fluctuations in atmospheric pressure and a suffocating atmosphere due to high humidity are possible at times.
