Ukrainian summer starts with warm temperatures, but the first week of June promises to be full of precipitation. According to the forecast from the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, cited by RBC-Ukraine, despite the warming trend, rain will accompany residents of the country for several days.
Weather at the beginning of the month
The first day of summer, June 1, will start with warm weather. However, meteorologists warn about uneven distribution of precipitation: rain with thunderstorms is expected in the western and eastern regions, while sunny weather will prevail in the rest of the country.
Forecast for mid-week
The situation with precipitation will continue on Tuesday, June 2. On this day, rain is expected in the western regions, as well as locally in the center and south of the country. On Wednesday, June 3, bad weather will cover most regions of Ukraine, although the sun will still break through the clouds.
Warming on Thursday and Friday
On Thursday, June 4, air temperatures will rise slightly, but rain will not leave the country. The peak of warming will fall on Friday, June 5 — this will be the warmest day of the week. At the same time, precipitation is expected almost throughout Ukraine.
Consequences of recent bad weather
It is worth noting that this week Ukraine has already been hit by serious bad weather: an atmospheric front brought stormy winds, downpours, and hail to several regions. Meteorologists have already released a preliminary forecast for the entire month of June, which will help residents prepare for weather changes.
