The Russian Embassy in Sweden officially announced a "new attack" on its territory, which, according to diplomats, was carried out using drones and coloring agents. According to the statement by the Russian diplomatic mission, around 02:00, two quadcopters flew over the embassy building. One of them dropped a container filled with red paint onto the territory, which spilled onto the asphalt. The second drone, to which an imitation of a homemade explosive device was attached, simply fell near the building.
Visual evidence published by the embassy shows a puddle of bright red liquid and a damaged plastic container wrapped in black tape. Russian diplomats emphasize that the incident was not an accident but a planned action.
Ultimatum to Sweden: "We will not give up that easily"
Outraged by the representatives of the diplomatic mission, Russian diplomats moved from describing facts to political accusations. In their statement, they noted that attacks on Russians in Stockholm are occurring with increasing frequency. Despite this, they boldly declared that they "will not give up that easily".
However, the main blow was not directed at the alleged perpetrators, but at the Swedish government. The Russian Embassy publicly demanded an explanation as to why the diplomatic mission is not being protected, but only the consequences of provocations are being recorded. Diplomats pointed to the lack of results from investigations into previous incidents.
"Under these conditions, all responsibility for the continuation of attacks on the Russian diplomatic mission and its possible consequences is placed on the Swedish side," was heard in the official statement as a kind of verdict.
