On November 1, 2026, within the walls of the Hofburg Palace in Vienna — the former imperial residence of the Habsburg dynasty — the Ukrainian bridal brand Ricca Sposa presented two collections for the 2028 season: Ricca Sposa Couture and Portrait Of Her by Yuliia Lobachova Couture. The show took place as part of the international wedding platform White Wedding Platform 2026 – The Art of Bloom, held in Vienna on November 1–2. This was reported by Wave RBC.UA, citing the brand's press materials.

The atmosphere of the palace show

The choice of venue was not accidental: the historic interiors of the Hofburg, with crystal chandeliers and the soft light of candles, created a backdrop that organically complemented the sculptural silhouettes and lush shapes of the presented outfits. The runway featured looks with lace, hand embroidery, and voluminous decor. Among the traditional white and cream compositions, the organizers included an unexpected red accent — a vibrant dress that provided a visual contrast to the show's entire palette. The final touch of the evening was the appearance on the runway of the brand's founder and creative director, Yuliia Lobachova, who joined the models.

Portrait Of Her: a nod to the 18th-century court portrait

The couture collection Portrait Of Her by Yuliia Lobachova Couture draws inspiration from European court attire and the portrait art of the 18th century. Historical motifs are brought to life through hand embroidery, decorative elements, expressive volumes, and precisely constructed silhouettes. According to the team, the collection combines romantic magnificence with technical precision. The photo shoot for the looks was conducted at a historic villa in Tuscany, continuing the theme of aristocratic portraiture that the designer explored.

Ricca Sposa Couture 2028: Capri inspiration

The second collection of the season is Ricca Sposa Couture 2028, which drew its inspiration from the Italian island of Capri. The collection includes 14 bridal looks, where center stage is given to a variety of lace textures and patterns. The models include mermaid and A-line silhouettes, complemented by slits, detachable trains, and boleros. The photo shoot for this line was also held in Capri, which strengthened the connection between the looks and their geographic origin.

A brand with fifteen years of history on the international stage

Ricca Sposa is a Ukrainian bridal and evening wear brand founded by designer Yuliia Lobachova. The company has been operating for over 15 years and regularly presents its collections at international events in the wedding industry, including in New York and Barcelona. Yuliia Lobachova Couture is a separate couture project by the same designer, focused on complex hand embroidery, sculptural silhouettes, and decorative detailing. The Vienna show at the Hofburg was another confirmation of the stable presence of Ukrainian bridal couture in the European fashion industry.
