The focus is on the lawfulness of the military's actions and the mob's harsh reaction to the detention of a citizen.

According to RBC-Ukraine, citing an official statement from the General Staff, a thorough investigation into the actions of the TCC personnel is currently underway. The military command has clearly stated its position: if the investigation reveals any legal violations by officials, those responsible will be held accountable in accordance with the law.
However, the statement also contains a stern warning. The General Staff emphasizes that any disputes regarding the legality of military actions cannot justify the use of violence. Legal assessments of specific situations must be made exclusively by authorized state bodies, not by spontaneous rallies.

The incident occurred on the evening of July 8 in the Sykhiv district of Lviv. The trigger for the conflict was the detention of a man liable for military service, who had been wanted since June 12, 2026. The situation instantly spiraled out of control: hundreds of people gathered at the scene.
An enraged mob began attacking the TCC employees' service vehicle. During the riots, the car was overturned, and the soldiers were subjected to physical violence. The events unfolding in the city shocked the public and caused a resonance at the national leadership level.

The reaction to the riots was swift. Kirill Budanov, Head of the President's Office of Ukraine, issued a stern statement calling on society to realize the consequences of such actions.
