On the night of July 3, Russian occupiers launched a rocket attack on Kryvyi Rih. The strike hit a densely populated urban sector, with rockets landing between apartment buildings. As a result, seven people were injured, three of whom were hospitalized. No critical injuries were reported; medical personnel are providing necessary care.
Fires and destruction
Fires broke out in residential buildings. Thanks to the professional actions of city rescuers, the fire was contained and extinguished. However, emergency rescue operations continue at the site: debris is being cleared, damage is being assessed, and safety is being ensured.
Residents' homes have sustained serious damage: windows are shattered, and balconies are destroyed. Utility workers promptly shut off gas and water supplies in the affected areas to prevent additional risks.
Operational headquarters and aid for victims
An operational headquarters has been established at the site of the attack. Building materials are being delivered to damaged homes for temporary repairs. Victims will receive all necessary assistance from city authorities — from medical support to financial aid.
Situation in other regions
Meanwhile, search and rescue operations continue in Kyiv following a massive rocket attack by the occupiers. The death toll there has risen to 27, and the number of injured with varying degrees of severity is also increasing.
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, an entire family was affected by a Russian KAB strike: a 7-year-old girl was killed, and four others were injured.
Also on July 2, occupiers attacked the Nova Poshta terminal in Zaporizhzhia. Details of this incident are being clarified.
