According to information received by RBK-Ukraine from the Kyiv City Military Administration (KMVA) and Mayor Vitali Klitschko, the threat of ballistic missile use prompted the declaration of an air raid. Almost simultaneously with the warning sounds, residents of the capital heard several loud explosions, confirming the start of the attack.
Emergency services response
Rescue operations were immediately launched at the scene. Photos from the site show fire crews working at night. Bright headlights from fire trucks illuminate the equipment and hoses through which water is being pumped.
